2. Is there parental involvement at Top Flight Academy?
Yes! At Top Flight Academy you are an integral part of the treatment team dedicated to promoting healthy growth and help for your child. We focus on solutions to problems by asking each team member to take appropriate responsibility and do their part to assist in the growth process. When parents, teens, and staff work together, the chances for success are much greater.

3. Can we tour the facility?
Certainly. We welcome the opportunity to meet you and let you experience Top Flight Academy’s program first-hand. If you would like to schedule a tour, please call 1.866.433.9181.

4. Are Top Flight Academy students allowed to go home for weekends, holidays, etc.?
To ensure proper implementation of each phase of treatment, it is in the best interest of the student to remain at Top Flight Academy until the student’s therapist recommends a home visit. Home visits normally take place toward the end of each students program and will be scheduled by the student’s therapist.

5. Is Top Flight Academy co-ed?
Top Flight Academy accepts only boys, ages 13 thru 17. Some students may remain after they turn 18 based on certain considerations.

6. Isn't it dangerous to put a 'troubled teen' in an airplane?
Students do not fly in the airplanes until they have made significant progress toward their therapeutic, academic, and community living goals. Because of the intensive therapeutic nature of the program, advanced students possess and exhibit substantial behavioral and emotional maturity, and are generally well prepared to begin the process of actual flight. Graduates will have completed all ground school requirements for a Private Pilot or Sporting license, while completing 15-20 transferable in-flight training hours.

7. Do you have specific enrollment dates?
No. You may enroll your child at any time.

8. How do we transport an unwilling child?
Our Admissions Department will work closely with you to determine the best way to transport your son to our facility. There are a number of high quality transport companies, such as USA Guides, that specialize in the transportation of "unwilling" teens to treatment programs.

9. How long is the program at Top Flight Academy?
The average length of stay at Top Flight Academy is approximately 10-12 months. The actual length of stay depends upon each student's treatment progress.

10. Are Scholarships or Financial Assistance Programs Available?
Scholarships may be available to offset some of the costs as well as finance options using conventional private loans. Private loans can generally cover all tuition fees with low monthly payments and reasonable interest rates.
