About Top Flight Academy
Top Flight was founded on the belief that there is goodness and amazing capability in all young men. Top Flight provides therapeutic tools and a structured educational environment where boys who have struggled in the past are taught to value themselves as they excel and ultimately succeed. Our foundation and motto is built around helping troubled teenage boys soar with their strengths.
Unlike behavioral modification programs, Top Flight utilizes a building, non-punitive atmosphere of self-responsibility called: Positive Peer Culture. In this home-like setting, students work together and take steps to improve and progress with the help of group and individualized therapy.
Top Flight's FAA-approved aviation program not only provides an exciting motivation for young men to think about their own issues and why their life needs course correcting, but also becomes a strong metaphor for success as the boys learn about flying, safety precautions, the importance of a flight plan, and setting a worthwhile destination.
Teens graduate from Top Flight knowing they have charted a new course for life. Students more fully understand that health and happiness are dependent upon vital decisions they make along the way. Therapy and education provide students with the necessary tools to keep themselves on course for the rest of their lives.
The mission of Top Flight Academy is to create a nurturing environment where troubled teenage boys overcome obstacles, discover capabilities, and strengthen the ties that bind and can heal their families. In a concerted effort, the therapist, child, and family work together as a team, promoting change and understanding on all sides.
At Top Flight Academy, we specialize in helping troubled teenage boys dealing with a variety of issues, including ADD, ADHD, anger management, substance abuse, oppositional defiant disorder, and teen depression.
